Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Cyberloft handles information when you use Housemindr, a home maintenance companion for tasks, rooms, items, reminders, guides, expenses, rewards, and household sharing.

Who we are

Housemindr is operated by Cyberloft. For privacy questions or account deletion requests, contact hello@housemindr.app.

Information Housemindr may collect

  • Account information: sign-in identifiers, email address, display name, authentication provider details, and app profile settings.
  • Home setup data: household name, onboarding choices, maintenance preferences, home areas, rooms, and items.
  • Maintenance data: task names, descriptions, due dates, recurrence, priority, categories, completion status, notes, favorites, templates, and custom routines.
  • Household sharing data: household membership, invitations, roles, shared tasks, and related activity within a shared home.
  • Reminder data: notification preferences, reminder timing, and device notification tokens where push reminders are enabled.
  • AI guide and report data: task prompts, task context, generated guide inputs and outputs, AI content reports, and related troubleshooting content that you request or submit.
  • Voice task draft data: when you choose to use speech-to-task drafting, Housemindr may access your microphone to capture your spoken request, use your device or platform speech recognition service to convert speech to text, and process the reviewed transcript to fill task draft fields. Housemindr does not intentionally store raw voice audio or send raw voice audio to the Housemindr AI backend. The reviewed transcript, generated task draft, and resulting saved task fields may be processed as AI and maintenance data.
  • YouTube search data: task-related search terms used to find relevant maintenance tutorials.
  • Expense and reward data: task costs, supplies, points, progress, levels, and other gamification records.
  • Analytics data: pseudonymous Firebase user ID, app events, screen names, safe event parameters, Firebase app-instance/install identifiers, app lifecycle and session data, device/app identifiers, and approximate location derived by Google Analytics for Firebase from masked IP address.
  • Crash and diagnostic data: crash reports, stack traces, app state at the time of a crash, device and operating system metadata, app version, Crashlytics installation identifier, pseudonymous Firebase user ID for signed-in users, and safe diagnostic labels such as current screen and broad profile settings.
  • Technical data: app version, device type, diagnostic events, security logs, and service performance data where needed to operate and protect the app.

Housemindr does not intentionally send email address, display name, task text, AI prompts, generated guide text, video search text, photos, or exact expense amounts to Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.

Task photos

Housemindr task photos are intended to stay local to your device at this stage of the app and are not generally uploaded by Housemindr in this release. They can help you remember labels, before-and-after work, parts, or maintenance conditions. If future versions add cloud photo sync, this policy should be updated before that feature is released.

How information is used

  • To create and secure your account.
  • To save your home setup, rooms, items, tasks, templates, expenses, and reward progress.
  • To send reminders and keep recurring maintenance on schedule.
  • To support household sharing and collaboration.
  • To generate task drafts, task guides, suggestions, and tutorial searches when you ask for help.
  • To use reviewed voice transcripts to fill task draft fields such as title, description, category, priority, frequency, due date, room or item suggestions, and assignee suggestions.
  • To understand app usage patterns through Firebase Analytics and improve reliability, onboarding, and core maintenance workflows.
  • To find, prioritize, and fix crashes, app errors, and Android application-not-responding issues through Firebase Crashlytics.
  • To troubleshoot, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and protect Housemindr and its users.

Cyberloft does not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

Housemindr may use third-party services to operate key app features, including Firebase and Google services for authentication, database storage, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics, Expo services for notifications or app delivery workflows, Google Gemini or similar AI services for generated drafts and guidance, YouTube or Google APIs for tutorial search, and device or platform speech recognition services such as Apple speech recognition, Google/Android speech services, browser speech APIs, or another enabled speech provider. These services may process information as needed to provide the requested feature.

Analytics

Housemindr uses Firebase Analytics on Android Play builds to measure successful app actions such as sign-up, login, onboarding completion, task creation and completion, AI draft creation, guide generation, video search use, notification opt-in, Start Afresh use, and household invite acceptance.

Voice drafting analytics, where used, is limited to safe metadata such as draft source and broad prompt length bucket. Housemindr does not intentionally send raw audio, speech transcripts, task text, AI prompts, generated guide text, video search text, photos, or exact expense amounts to Firebase Analytics.

The Housemindr website may use Google Analytics to measure page views, referrers, device/browser information, approximate geography derived from IP address, and interactions with public website pages such as the download call to action. Website analytics does not include Housemindr account data, task text, AI prompts, speech transcripts, generated guides, photos, or exact expense amounts.

Analytics is collected by default for this release and uses a pseudonymous Firebase user ID for signed-in users. Firebase Analytics may also process app-instance identifiers, device and app information, session and lifecycle data, screen views, and coarse geography derived from masked IP address. Analytics data is processed by Google/Firebase, transmitted using encrypted connections, and retained according to the Firebase/Google Analytics retention settings used for Housemindr.

Housemindr does not use Google Ads, remarketing audiences, or personalized advertising signals for Firebase Analytics in this release. Advertising ID collection is disabled in app configuration and should be confirmed against the final release manifest before Play Console declarations are submitted.

Crash reporting and diagnostics

Housemindr uses Firebase Crashlytics on Android Play builds to detect crashes, non-fatal errors, and Android application-not-responding issues. Crashlytics reports may include stack traces, app and device metadata, app version, relevant app state at the time of a crash, and a Crashlytics installation identifier.

For signed-in users, Housemindr may attach the pseudonymous Firebase user ID and safe diagnostic labels such as current screen, property type, ownership type, theme preference, shared-household status, and push-reminder status. These labels are used to reproduce and prioritize reliability issues and are not intended to include task names, notes, prompts, guide text, video search text, photos, email address, display name, or exact expense amounts.

AI-generated task drafts, guidance, and YouTube results

When you request AI-assisted help, Housemindr may send relevant task text, reviewed speech transcripts, selected home context such as room or item names, and related task details to the Housemindr AI backend so task drafts or guides can be generated. For speech-to-task drafting, the app first uses device or platform speech recognition to create a transcript, then lets you review or edit that transcript before AI fills the task fields. Raw voice audio is not intentionally stored by Housemindr or sent to the Housemindr AI backend.

Speech recognition may be provided by your operating system, browser, or device speech service, such as Apple speech recognition, Google/Android speech services, or another enabled speech provider. Those services may process audio as needed to return a transcript and may be governed by their own privacy settings and policies.

Generated content can be inaccurate or incomplete and should be checked before you save a task or act on guidance. When YouTube tutorial search is used, task-related search terms may be sent to YouTube or Google APIs to retrieve relevant videos.

Household sharing

If you join or create a shared household, other members of that household may see shared home data such as tasks, rooms, items, notes, completion status, and assigned work. Only share a household with people you trust.

Notifications

If reminders are enabled, Housemindr may use notification tokens and timing preferences to deliver due-date nudges. You can control notifications from the app or your device settings.

Retention and deletion

Housemindr keeps account and maintenance data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can use Start Afresh in app Settings to reset saved Housemindr setup data such as profile setup, onboarding state, personal tasks, rooms, items, custom categories, custom templates, favorites, reminder settings, and reward progress.

Housemindr does not intentionally retain raw voice audio from speech-to-task drafting. Reviewed transcripts used for AI drafting may be processed as AI input, and any task fields you save from a voice-generated draft become normal maintenance data. If you report or flag an AI draft, the report may include the transcript or draft snapshot needed to review the issue.

Start Afresh is a reset option and does not delete the sign-in account itself. To request full account and data deletion, follow the instructions on the Account/Data Deletion page or email hello@housemindr.app with the subject line Delete my Housemindr account. Cyberloft reviews verified deletion requests and processes eligible deletion as quickly as reasonably possible after verification.

Some information may be retained for a limited time where required for security, legal compliance, fraud or abuse prevention, dispute handling, backups, operational logs, or accounting.

Children

Housemindr is intended for household maintenance use and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact hello@housemindr.app.

Security

Cyberloft uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Housemindr data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so keep your device and account credentials protected.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Housemindr changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
