Account and Data Deletion

Use this page to understand the difference between resetting your Housemindr app data and requesting full account and data deletion from Cyberloft.

Option 1: Reset app data with Start Afresh

The in-app Start Afresh option is available in Housemindr Settings. It is designed to reset saved Housemindr setup data so you can rebuild your maintenance plan from the beginning.

Start Afresh can delete or reset app data such as profile setup, onboarding state, personal tasks, rooms, items, custom categories, custom templates, favorites, reminder settings, and reward progress. If you are part of a shared household, Start Afresh may remove you from that household, while shared household records may remain for other valid household members.

Start Afresh does not delete the sign-in account itself. It is not the same as a full account and data deletion request.

Option 2: Request full account and data deletion

To request deletion of your Housemindr account and associated data, email victorsaliba@gmail.com with the subject line Delete my Housemindr account.

Cyberloft reviews verified deletion requests and processes eligible deletion as quickly as reasonably possible after verification.

Email from the account address

Send the request from the email address connected to your Housemindr account whenever possible.

Include basic verification details

If you cannot email from the account address, include the sign-in email and any details needed to verify that the account belongs to you.

Cyberloft processes the request

Cyberloft reviews the request, verifies account ownership where needed, and deletes eligible account data unless retention is required for legitimate security, legal, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, backup, dispute handling, operational, or accounting reasons.

Data covered by a deletion request

  • Housemindr app profile data and Firebase-linked account identity where applicable.
  • Home onboarding and setup information.
  • Personal tasks, rooms, items, recurring schedules, custom categories, custom templates, favorites, and notes associated with your account.
  • Expense records, reward progress, gamification events, and related maintenance history associated with your account.
  • Household invitations and membership records tied to your account where deletion does not affect other users' valid shared household data.
  • Notification tokens or reminder settings tied to your account where they are stored by Housemindr.
  • AI guide inputs and outputs associated with your account where they are stored by Housemindr.
  • Account-linked support, moderation, and deletion request records where eligible.

Shared household data

If you are part of a shared household, deleting your account may remove you from that household and delete data that is uniquely tied to you. Some shared household records may remain for other household members where they have their own valid access to that shared home.

Local task photos

Housemindr task photos are intended to remain on your device and are not generally uploaded by Housemindr in this release. You can remove local task photos by clearing Housemindr app storage/data on your device or uninstalling the app.

Data that may be retained

Cyberloft may retain limited records where needed for security, legal compliance, fraud or abuse prevention, dispute handling, backups, operational logs, or accounting. Backup copies may take additional time to expire according to normal backup cycles.
